WHAT IS SST®?
Synchronized Synergistic Therapy® (SST) is a revolutionary model of trauma healing that brings together the best of mental health and somatic care into one deeply attuned, co-facilitated experience. In each session, a licensed psychotherapist and a somatic practitioner work side by side—synchronizing verbal processing with body-based interventions such as massage therapy, acupuncture, neurofeedback, or breathwork. This unified approach allows for deeper access to the stored imprints of trauma, which often live not just in the mind, but in the body and nervous system.

WHO IS SST FOR?

SST was developed to support clients who feel stuck in traditional talk therapy or whose trauma symptoms are too complex for a single modality. By addressing trauma through multiple channels at once—cognitive, emotional, physical, and energetic—clients are able to experience breakthroughs that are often unreachable through conventional methods alone. Sessions are structured, yet fluid, guided by the client’s needs and supported by a team committed to safety, regulation, and healing at the pace that feels right.
Whether navigating anxiety, PTSD, chronic stress, attachment wounds, or physical manifestations of emotional pain, SST creates a space where the full system can be seen, supported, and healed in real time.
SST is for individuals who:
-
Have experienced acute, chronic, or complex trauma (including PTSD)
-
Continue to have symptoms that haven’t fully resolved with traditional talk therapy or other treatments
-
Experience trauma-related symptoms held in the body (e.g. chronic tension, pain, emotional shutdown, dysregulation)
-
Are open to a deeper, mind–body approach to healing
-
Struggle with nervous system dysregulation, emotional overwhelm, or feeling “stuck”
-
Want a more integrated, efficient path to trauma resolution
SST is especially helpful for clients with:
-
Developmental or relational trauma
-
Chronic stress, anxiety, or somatic symptoms linked to trauma
-
Repeated trauma exposure (e.g. first responders, military)
-
Difficulty accessing or processing emotions through verbal therapy alone

SST sessions are quiet, respectful, and deeply personal, integrating psychotherapy and bodywork to create a safe, regulated state where the nervous system can settle. Within this state, clients shift out of chronic fight, flight, freeze, or fawn responses as emotions and memories are gently processed, supporting integration and lasting trauma resolution.
Clients often report:
-
Feeling more grounded and calm
-
Increased access to emotion without overwhelm
-
Release of long-held tension or somatic memories
-
A felt sense of being seen, held, and supported
