Meet the Founders of Synchronized Synergistic Therapy
SST was born from a shared passion: to create a healing modality that honors the intelligence of the body, the power of the mind, and the necessity of a safe, attuned therapeutic relationship.
Each founder brings a unique clinical lens—ranging from psychotherapy to acupuncture, massage therapy, and neurofeedback. Together, they’ve woven these threads into a trauma-informed, body-based approach that helps clients regulate their nervous systems, restore inner safety, and reclaim wholeness.

Mark Sylvester, MD
Dr. Sylvester’s background in psychiatry and functional medicine laid the foundation for SST’s emphasis on nervous system regulation and the brain-body connection. A physician who walks his own healing path, Dr. Sylvester brings both clinical precision and deep compassion to his work. His understanding of how trauma and toxicity affect the limbic system and autonomic nervous system has shaped the neurological underpinnings of SST.
Dr. Sylvester’s contribution anchors the neurobiological framework of SST—emphasizing how chronic stress, trauma, and toxic exposures alter physiology. His guidance ensures that every element of SST is rooted in science while remaining client-centered and emotionally attuned.

Megan Earles, LCSW
Megan brings two decades of experience in trauma-focused therapy, including EMDR and somatic modalities. She is known for her ability to create a safe therapeutic container where clients can soften into healing. Her work bridges talk therapy with body-based practices, making her a key architect of the emotional attunement, relational presence, and trauma-informed language used in SST sessions.
Megan’s expertise defines the psychological safety and co-regulation that are central to the SST experience. Her contributions ensure the therapy honors attachment wounds, emotional pacing, and the vital importance of compassionate presence in the healing process.

Adrienne Sundberg, AP
Adrienne’s deep understanding of energy medicine, Eastern philosophy, and somatic wisdom helped shape SST’s intuitive and nonverbal dimensions. With decades of experience in acupuncture and medical intuition, she teaches SST practitioners how to sense subtle shifts in energy, use attuned touch, and support the body’s natural movement toward balance and healing.
Adrienne brings the “synergistic” element to SST—guiding practitioners to listen with more than just their ears, and to work with the body’s meridians, subtle fields, and energetic boundaries. Her influence helps SST practitioners become more intuitively attuned to nonverbal cues and somatic responses.

Wanda Flores, LMT
Wanda’s nurturing approach to touch and trauma-aware bodywork gave rise to SST’s hands-on component. With over 20 years of experience, she’s developed a keen ability to sense emotional holding patterns in the body and respond with therapeutic touch that is deeply respectful and regulating. Her work integrates the physical and emotional aspects of trauma release.
Wanda shaped SST’s foundational protocols for trauma-informed touch, emphasizing the importance of consent, pacing, and energetic boundaries. She trains practitioners to work with the fascia, breath, and nervous system in a way that invites trust and somatic safety.

Nicoll Bacharach
Nicoll’s work with neurofeedback, breathwork, and brain retraining introduced the importance of rhythm, entrainment, and self-regulation into the SST model. He brings a rare sensitivity to the unseen patterns of brainwave dysregulation, and his tools for breath-led reconnection help clients access calm and embodied presence.
Nicoll contributes the brain-body entrainment principles that support long-term nervous system rewiring. His insights inform SST’s use of breath, pacing, and rhythm as core tools for anchoring clients in the present moment and gently guiding them out of survival states.
A Collaborative, Integrated Approach
SST would not exist without the wisdom of each therapeutic modality. Together, this multidisciplinary collaboration has created a healing model that is:
-
Grounded in neuroscience
-
Attuned to subtle body language and energy
-
Rooted in compassion and relationship
-
Accessible to practitioners across a variety of healing disciplines
